Kids Creative Music Group
For children (8yrs up) who are already learning either flute, clarinet, oboe, violin, viola or cello from a teacher, they play in small mixed groups and are guided to develop their musical and creative confidence. As their skill matures, they have the opportunity to write, play, conduct and perform for and with their group. At the same time they learn social skills, team work, self management, healthy use of will and healthy ego. It is particularly suited to an intelligent, sensitive, creative child. This is an alternative to participating in an orchestra. Groups are held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after school, Saturday mornings, and School Holiday Playshops. Questions? I am happy to help. Each Playshop focusses on creativity, fun, using imagination and musical skill building.
